Strictly adhere to the rack’s rated load capacity (usually 30–50kg for most models). Do not hang excessive clothes, thick quilts, or heavy items beyond the limit—overloading can damage the motor, bending the drying rods or causing the lifting system to fail.
The balcony is prone to humidity (e.g., after rain or laundry). Never splash water directly on the rack’s control panel, motor, or power socket. If the surface gets wet, wipe it dry with a soft, dry cloth immediately to prevent short circuits or rust.
- For drying rods and frames: Wipe away dust, lint, or stains with a damp microfiber cloth (avoid abrasive sponges that scratch the surface). For stubborn dirt, use a mild soapy solution and rinse with a clean cloth.
- For air vents (in drying/air-drying models): Clear lint or debris monthly to ensure smooth air flow—blocked vents reduce drying efficiency and may overheat the system.
Do not look directly at the UV light when it is on, as it may harm eyesight. Ensure no people or pets stay near the rack during sterilization, and turn off the function immediately after use. Avoid using UV mode on delicate fabrics (e.g., silk) to prevent discoloration.
- Do not pull or push the drying rods manually while the electric lifting function is running—this disrupts the motor’s operation.
- Wait for the rods to stop completely before hanging or retrieving clothes. If the lifting process makes abnormal noises (e.g., grinding, creaking), stop using it immediately and contact after-sales service.
Prevent hard objects (e.g., flower pots, tools) from colliding with the rack, especially the drying rods and control panel. Such impacts can deform components or damage the sensor for the obstacle-sensing emergency stop function.
Keep the remote control in a dry, clean place (avoid leaving it in damp corners or exposing it to sunlight for a long time). Replace the battery promptly when the remote’s response becomes slow—dead batteries may leak and damage the device.
Every 3–6 months, check:
- Whether the drying rods are loose or bent;
- If the power cord and plug are intact (no cracks or exposed wires);
- Whether the obstacle-sensing function works normally (place a soft object under the rods to test if it stops immediately).Address minor issues promptly to avoid larger malfunctions.
