UV sterilization in automated laundry racks is effective and safe. Industrial designers of automated laundry racks took into account that temporary storage of clothes at home may lead to the breeding of mites or bacteria. Due to differences in people’s living habits, bed sheets, clothes, and other items may harbor various types of bacteria and molds. Therefore, leveraging the working principle of UV sterilization and fully considering the usage needs and habits of balconies, designers have incorporated the UV sterilization function into automated laundry racks.  

During the sterilization process, UV light achieves disinfection through direct irradiation. Importantly, human eyes must not stare directly at the UV light—direct exposure to UV sterilization lamps can cause harm to the eyes. Thus, prolonged direct eye contact should be avoided during use. However, UV sterilization poses no harm to other aspects (e.g., clothes, the environment).
